President’s Message May 22, 2025

Dear PTA Leaders and Supporters,

Happy Last Day of School! Some items to check off your to do list as we wrap up another school year:

File an updated Officers List through the Compliance link in Givebacks. This allows us access to the most updated contacts so that we may continue providing you with information throughout the year. Complete your Financial Review (audit) within a month of the end of your fiscal year. For most units, that date is 6/30. File your 990 for the IRS. This does not need to be completed until November, but there’s no reason not to take care of this simple but important step in July.

Jeffco PTA is always looking for our next generation of leaders. Please consider joining us as an AAVP (articulation area Vice President) or as a Committee Chair. We run the countywide Reflections Program, we provide Scholarships and Awards to local teachers and volunteers, keep you updated on Health, Wellness and Safety, Legislative Engagement, DEI, and provide local unit Training, to name a few, and we value your input.
