What is an AAVP?
Because Jefferson County is so large and has so many fantastic schools, we found it was beneficial to separate and delegate PTA assistance to specific areas such as articulation areas. An AAVP is an Articulation Area Vice President. Their job is to be your local unit(s) PTA liaison and mentor. They are there to help guide, assist and answer any questions you may have. They can also attend your meetings to help your group become more organized, give advice, or help mediate a situation.
We try our best to have our AAVP’s living in the same general area as your unit so they can be a local resource for you and your team.
