Speaking up for the things she believes in has always been important to Dawn Fritz. She joined PTA in 2013 and has never looked back. She has served as a unit Secretary, unit President, unit Advocacy Liaison, member of Colorado PTA’s (COPTA) Legislative Committee, COPTA Public Policy Director, and COPTA Legislative Committee Chair. Dawn currently serves PTA as a unit member, COPTA Director of Legislative Engagement, and JCPTA Representative to the Jeffco Public Schools District Accountability Committee.

Dawn has been involved advocacy since 2014. She enjoys collaborating with others, testifying, carrying petitions, and canvasing on issues that are important to her. Dawn especially enjoys bringing others into the important conversations that affect the lives of our children and youth.

In addition to her volunteer work with PTA, Dawn enjoys spending time with her spouse and high schooler (who has attended Jeffco Public Schools since preschool), reading, and time in the mountains. She is also an attorney.
