Sandie Weathers has been a PTA volunteer for the past 12 years. Before serving as the Jeffco PTA Secretary, she served as the South Lakewood Elementary PTA President and the Creighton Middle School PTSA Secretary. Sandie has received several awards for her service including: the Jan Harp Domene award from National PTA, the Wayne Carle award from Jeffco Board of Education, the Hand in Hand Award, and most recently, the Jane Hammond Advocacy Award from Jeffco PTA. Sandie aims to foster a positive and welcoming environment for all children, which is why she has also served on the board of the Colorado Statewide Parent Coalition and the Jeffco Schools Foundation.
