We know that school shootings are the number one polling issue for our school families. We also know that our community members want to do something to help as well as wanting to learn the facts to support school and community safety. The Jeffco DeAngelis Foundation has developed a community safety education program to help all of us become a part of building safer schools and communities.

• What is the Jeffco DeAngelis Foundation and what are they doing to build safer schools and communities?
• What are our roles as parents, guardians, and community members in the safety conversation and what we can do to make a difference for our families and others?
• What are the largest safety concerns for our children and others in our community?
• What resources does the Jeffco DeAngelis Foundation have to allow me to assist in building safer schools and communities?

Jeffco PTA is delighted to partner with the Jeffco DeAngelis Foundation to offer this program to help you become a community safety champion! The Jeffco DeAngelis Foundation serves communities throughout Colorado as well as nationally.

PTA leaders, please invite your PTA members so they also have access to this program should they wish to join.

The evening meeting will start off with a bit of PTA business and then immediately move to our educational program to make the best use of your time!
